One of the best perks of using a Trusty Slingshot is that players will not draw aggro away from other players or friendly allies such as Pigs, Merms, or Rock Lobsters, making the use of the Trusty Slingshot exceptionally powerful against bosses such as the Bee Queen, Deerclops, Moose/Goose or Antlion. If players lose WalterвЂ™s Trusty Slingshot for any reason, they can craft another one using the Fight Tab with 2 Mosquito Sacks and 1 Twig. Unlike the characters mentioned above, the Trusty Slingshot has infinite durability but must be loaded with different forms of ammo as the trade-off. Much like characters like Wigfrid or Maxwell in single-player, Walter spawns into The Constant with his own weapon the Trusty Slingshot. Unfortunately, Walter is not a playable character in single-player DonвЂ™t Starve (DS, RoG, SW and HAM) so, donвЂ™t get your hopes up too high for this rad guy.

Walter is available for all players to use for free when purchasing DonвЂ™t Starve Together and does not require any spools to weave.

While Walter is a child, like Wendy, Webber, and Willow, he doesnвЂ™t share similar stats with them and should be considered the вЂњhard-modeвЂќ child of The Constant. Walter is considered to be a challenging character to play, similar to Wes, though Walter is much more entertaining to play as, unlike Wes, he actually experiences many more penalties for the trade-off of having some of the most interesting weapons and skills in DonвЂ™t Starve Together. Surprise, surprise! ThereвЂ™s a new boy in The Constant and his name is Walter!
